3 years with him

 

Vrijdag avond zijn Mike en ik uit eten geweest bij Elite Hotel om te vieren dat we drie jaar samen zijn. Kun je geloven dat het al zo lang is?! Natuurlijk hebben we net als iedereen onze ups en downs, maar samen kunnen we alles aan. Ik ben nog steeds helemaal gek op hem net als drie jaar geleden! <3

Friday evening Mike and I went for dinner at Elite Hotel to celebrate that we have been together for three years. Can you believe it has been that long?! Of course we have our ups and downs just like everybody else, but together we can conquer all. I'm still as crazy about him as I was three years ago! <3

Het is zondag en dat betekend dat het weekend er weer op zit.. boehoeee! Ik heb het hele weekend heerlijk rustig aan gedaan en want dat had ik echt even nodig. Ik had een super lekker etentje op vrijdag avond. De rest van het weekend heb ik mijn huisje een beetje lente klaar gemaakt, want jawel hoor: het zit er nu toch echt aan te komen (tot op vorige week hadden we nog sneeuw buien). Ik heb verse kruiden gezaaid want ik denk dat het nu niet meer gaat vriezen en ik heb mijn balkonnetje onder handen genomen. Ook ben ik begonnen aan een DIY-poef die echt super leuk gaat worden. Vandaag had ik een heerlijke dag met Ahilya en het enige wat we hebben gedaan is koffie drinken en bijkletsen. Gosh, I love this girl! My favorite kind of Sunday if you ask me!

It's Sunday evening so that means that the weekend is over.. boohoooo! I just took it really easy this weekend and it was just what I needed. I had a really nice dinner on Friday evening. The rest of the weekend I made my home spring-proof, because oh yes: It looks like spring is finally coming to Sweden (up until last week we still had snow showers). I've been seeding fresh herbs because I don't think it's gonna freeze anymore and I made the balcony nice again. I also started on a fun DIY-pouf/stool which is gonna be so cute when it's done. Today I met up with Ahilya and all we did was drink coffee and just chat about anything and nothing. Gosh, I love this girl! My favorite kind of Sunday if you ask me!

Hier is een van de foto's die zijn gemaakt tijdens de workshop met Bingo Rimer. Hij heeft goede tips gegeven want my god, moet je kijken naar dit licht! Ik heb afgelopen week samengewerkt met Hossein voor een streetstyle fotoshoot vlak bij de rivier. Ik kan niet wachten om het resultaat te zien!

Ik moet trouwens wel een beetje rustig aan doen met fotoshoots die buiten zijn. Meestal heb ik niet een super warme outfit aan en hier in Umea is het nog steeds heel erg koud (het sneeuwt nu ook). Deze zaterdag had ik ook een shoot en ik was zo'n twee uur buiten zonder jas. Ik heb afgelopen weekend ook goed moeten rusten omdat de kou heel erg op mijn longen slaat. En met astma is dat niet echt een pretje. Ik ben twee maanden geleden begonnen met pufjes, maar ze zeggen dat het heel lang duurt voordat het begint te werken. Nog even geduld dus!

Here's one of the photo's that was taken during Bingo's workshop. He gave some good tips because my god, look at this light! Last week I worked together with Hossein for a streetstyle photoshoot close to the river. I can't wait to see the results!

I feel like I need to slow down a bit with doing photoshoots outside though. I usually don't wear a super warm outfit and here in Umea it's still really cold (it's snowing atm). This Saturday I also had a shoot and I was outside for two hours without a jacket. After that I had to rest up a lot because being in the freezing cold with asthma is not the best thing.I started using inhalers two months ago, but they say it takes a very long time before it starts to work. I gotta have patience!

Twee weken geleden mocht ik model zijn voor bekende Zweedse fotograaf Bingo Rimér voor zijn workshops. Het coole is dat ik Bingo's werk al kende voordat ik uberhaupt in Zweden was geweest. Hij heeft samengewerkt met bekende bloggers dus ik zag zijn naam regelmatig voorbij komen op het internet. Het was een super leuke ervaring om met een heel profesioneel team te werken. Er was haar, makeup, styling en niet geheel onbelangrijk: catering! Tijdens de workshop heb ik veel lokale fotografen leren kennen dus dat was ook erg leuk. Ik zal binnekort wel wat foto's droppen hier!

In de tussentijd ben ik nog steeds druk bezig met mijn afstuderen. Ik ben begonnen met het schrijven van mijn scriptie maar het labwerk loop nog steeds. Helaas heb ik dus niet veel tijd tijdens werkuren om eraan te zitten. Ik hoop dat dat snel veranderd want de tijd begint nu wel een beetje te dringen..

Two weeks ago I got to be a model for famous Swedish photographer Bingo Rimér for his workshops. The cool thing is, is that I already knew about Bingo's work before I even came to Sweden. He has worked together with lots of bloggers so I've seen his name around on the internet. It was such a cool experience to work with a profesional team. There was hair, makeup, styling and most importantly: catering! During the workshop I got to know a lot of local photographers which is amazing. I will soon drop some photo's here! 

In the meantime I've been busy with my thesis project. I started writing my thesis but the labwork is still going on. Unfortunately I don't have much time to write during working hours. I hope that will change soon because time is starting to run out now..
