Hier is een look van Stockholm. Ik ben al een poosje helemaal verliefd op flared jeans. Nu dat ze een beetje meer in de mode komen hoef ik me niet meer zo opgelaten te voelen tussen alle mensen die gekleed gaan in strak strakker strakst (ja ook de mannen, ja). Iedereen moet denk ik ook nog een beetje wennen aan de terugkeer van de jaren 60- en 70-mode maar ik kan je vertellen: Ik vind het helemaal top! En dit is niet eens de wijdste broek die ik heb haha! Ik heb het gestyled met een streepjes blouse en een licht bomberjackje en mijn meest comfy shoenen. We hadden niet super veel tijd om een mooie locatie uit te zoeken om foto's te maken want we waren vooral bezig met het bezoeken van musea en samen tijd doorbrengen. Deze foto's zijn gemaakt net buiten het Vasa museum. Zoals je kunt zien was hier alle sneeuw al gesmolten en scheen heerlijk de zon. Wat zijn we toch mazzelaars!

Here is a look from Stockholm. I'm so in love with flared jeans for quite a while now. Now that they are becoming more 'hip' I don't have to feel awkward when I wear my baggy flared jeans in a crowd dressed in skintight skinny jeans (even the guys - oh come on now). I know, everybody just needs to get used to the 60s/70s trend but I can tell you: I'm diggin' it! And this is not even the widest pair of pants I own haha! I paired my jeans with a stripped blouse and light bomber jacket and also my most comfortable pair of shoes. We didn't have much time to look for a nice location to take pictures cause we were busy visiting museums and spending time together. Here we quickly shot some pics outside the Vasa museum. As you can see all the snow was gone and the sun was shining. Lucky us!

Ik heb een super lekker weekend gehad in Stockholm met mijn familie. We hebben hebben veel dingen gezien en van elkaar genoten! Hier wat gemixte foto's van onder andere Gamla stan, ABBA museum en de viking kroeg. Outfit foto's zijn onderweg!

Off to Stockholm

Maandag was mijn examen en het was echt zo moeilijk! Ik ga niet hopen op het beste want ik heb geen zin om teleurgesteld te worden als ik straks de resultaten te horen krijg. Naja, we zien het wel.. Ik ben de hele week al een beetje aan het chillen en vandaag ga ik mijn koffers pakken want we gaan naar Stockholm dit weekend! Mijn ouders en mijn broer en zijn vriendin meeten ons daar dus het wordt super gezellig. Be prepared of a mega photobomb volgende week als ik weer terug ben!

Monday was my exam and it was really so hard! I'm not gonna hope for the best just because I don't want to get disappointed when I hear the results. Oh well, we'll see how it goes.. This whole week I've just been chilling and today it's time to pack my bags because I'm going to Stockholm for the weekend! My parents, brother and his girlfriend are meeting us there so it will be a lot of fun. Be prepared of a mega photobomb when I come back next week!

Nooo, de sneeuw is aan het smelten! :-( Meer updates komen na maandag want ik ben mega hard aan de studie. Ik heb serieus nog nooit zo'n moeilijk vak gehad dus dat gaat nog een hele bevalling worden. Maandag is mijn grote examen dus daarna heb ik weer tijd om te adem halen. Maar voor nu: stress! Wens me succes..

Nooo, the snow is melting! :-( More updates are coming after Monday because I'm currently working real hard on my studies. I seriously never had a course this hard before. Monday is the big exam so after that I have time to breath again. But for now: stress! Wish me luck..

Het is eindelijk boven nul, dat betekend: koffie in de zon zonder jas! Ehhh? Niet te geloven dat ik het zeg want ik ben de grootste koukleun die er is, maar de temperatuur is 20 graden warmer dan we normaal gewend zijn. We hebben een paar dagen heerlijk zon gehad en volgende week ziet er ook veelbelovend uit. Jammer dat alle sneeuw dan weer gaat smelten, dus ik ga er nog even van genieten. Aankomende dagen ga ik heel hard aan de studie want ik heb over 9 dagen het examen van mijn vak Molecular Genetics. Yikes.. Ik ga mijn best doen om het in 1 keer te halen, maar ik ben bang dat ik een herexamen moet gaan maken. Als ik dit vak haal dan mag ik heel trots op mezelf zijn want het is zo moeilijkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Wel een leuke motivatie om goed mijn best te doen: het weekend na mijn examen gaan M en ik een weekendje naar Stockholm om mijn familie te zien! Nog even knallen dus!

Can't believe I'm saying that because I'm the one who's always cold, but it's 20 degrees warmer than we are used to. We had a few days of awesome sunshine and next week looks promising too. Too bad the snow is gonna melt, gonna try to enjoy it as long as I still can. Upcoming days I'm gonna be busy with studying because in 9 days I have my exam in Molecular Genetics. Yikes.. I'm gonna try to pass the exam in one time, but I'm afraid I need to take the re-exam. If I pass this exam I'm gonna be so proud of myself because it so freaking harddddddddddd. I do have a nice motivation to do my best: the weekend after my exam M and me will go down to Stockholm to meet my family there! Just gotta hang in there for now!

Happy birthday to me! Vorige week vrijdag was mijn 23e verjaardag en dat vierde ik s'avonds met wat vrienden en wat drankjes. Die zondag had ik een fika voorbereid voor de familie van M dus we hadden een super leuk weekend. Weet je wat ook leuk was? Roxan had me verrast met een bezoekje aan Umea!! Ik kwam thuis van een lange dag in de bieb en had helemaal niks door. Ik stond in de woonkamer om even hoi te zeggen tegen M's broer en schoonzus en toen besloten ze voor me te zingen. En daar kwamen Roxan en Camella de keuken uitgelopen met een taart in hun handen! Haha, ik was helemaal sprakenloos! Het was echt een verrassing want ze hadden het helemaal geheim gehouden! We hebben dus een super leuk weekend gehad! Echt het beste verjaardagskadotje als je het mij vraagt!


Happy birthday to me! Last Friday I turned 23 and I celebrated it that night with some friends and drinks. That Sunday I prepared a fika for the in-laws so the whole weekend was a lot of fun. And you know what was also a lot of fun? Roxan supersized me and came over for my birthday weekend!! I came home from a long day at the library and I was standing in the living room to say hello to M's brother and sister in law. They started singing happy birthday and at that moment Roxan and Camella walked out of the kitchen holding a cake! Haha, I was completely speechless! It was such a surprise because I didn't know anything! So we had a nice weekend together filled with a lot of fun activities! This is really the best birthday present you can get if you ask me!
