Dit is was ik droeg op tweede kerstdag: Santa Style! Dit rode velvet rokje is perfect voor kerst en denk ik ook de enige tijd van het jaar dat je er mee weg kan komen. Ik droeg het rokje met een nonchalant bloesje omdat ik niet als een overgeilde kerstvrouw over wilde komen en mijn lange zwarte laarzen.

christmas day 1

Hier zie je wat impressiefoto's van mijn eerste kerstdag. De kleinkinderen hadden het hele diner verzorgt dus de oudjes konden lekker achterover zitten en genieten! (Op oma na, niemand kan tippen aan haar stoofpeertjes..) Op het menu stond bruchetta met carpaccio vooraf, Engelse lamsgehakt balletjes met roomsaus, zalm met een kruidenkorstje en een varkensrollade met champignion vulling en mijn toetje: triffle van rode vruchten jello met huisgemaakte custard en meringue. Het was super gezellig en we hebben heerlijk gegeten!

NYE with my man

Me and M. on NYE in Rotterdam. We watched the fireworks, went dancing and drank to much champagne. I had a blast and I wouldn't wanna have spend it with anyone else. <3

Ik heb mezelf eens lekker verwend met Zweedse gröt met banaan en kaneel als ontbijt. Het is een soort warme brinta en vult heel goed en is ook nog eens heel erg lekker!

Haha, vandaag hadden we eindelijk tijd om de kerstboom op te ruimen. In de middag ben ik samen met mijn moeder lekker gaan shoppen en ideetjes opdoen bij IKEA. Ik heb namelijk een leuk nieuwtje: Ik ga samenwonen met Mich! en ik heb suuuuper veel zin om ons appartementje om te toveren tot een warm, knus, gezellig Zweeds (en een beetje Indisch) paleisje. Ik kan helaas nog niet te veel dingetjes kopen en voorbereiden want ja.. Ik verhuis Zweden! Later meer nieuws...

This afternoon me and my mom went to IKEA to do some shopping and get inspired because I got some exciting news: I'm gonna move in with Mich! I'm suuuper excited to turn our apartment into a warm, cozy Swedish (and Indian) palace. Unfortunately I can't buy that much yet because I will move to Sweden. To be continued.. //

Een paar weken geleden ben ik Roxie wezen opzoeken in Leuven, Belgie, waar ze studeert. We hadden elkaar al heel lang niet gezien en het was gelijk al weer super gezellig, We hebben eerst lekker "fika" gedaan en daarna zijn we een beetje wezen Sight See-en door de stad. Wat een mooie plek en wat super knus! Helemaal niet wat ik er van had verwacht eigenlijk. Dit is wat is de eerste dag aanhad, natuurijk mijn heerlijke fluffy jas. 

A few weeks ago I visited Roxie in Leuven, Belgium, where she is currently studying. We hadn't seen eachother in a while so we had fun times. We did some "fika" and sight seeing in the city. The city is reallu pretty and cosy, something that I wasn't expecting. This is what I wore the first day, ofc. my fluffy coat.

Okay, so, helloooooo blog, long time no seeee.. I've been so busy with my internship that I barely have any free time left. The company I work for this whole school year is currently working on a vaccine for Ebola and I'm deeply involved in the viral safety of this vaccine so things are super duper mega turbo hectic. Also nice of my boss that he was actually considering to cancel my vacantion so that I could do more experiments on the lab. I kinda panicked because I had fun things planned and I also didn't wanna work on X-mas (duh). Luckely someone else was nice enough to cover for me so that I had some space to breath.

M. came to visit me for New Year's and I really had the best time. It was just what I needed, him and me, all alone and have fun. Here we went to the Royal Zoo in Amsterdam, It was so friggin' cold that day so that called for a warm outfit. How cute is this beanie btw? It goes perfectly with my sunnies. :) More pictures of my time with M. will come up here a little later.
